Yo Yo Ma

images1.jpegI’ve never been a big fan of the cello, much less a fan of Classical Music. That was until My friend Tina over at We Are In Jesus wrote a compelling piece entitled:

Something Beautiful From the Mundane. She piqued my curiosity, so I downloaded a few of Yo Yo Ma’s interpretation of Bach’s “Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello”.

Odd, my new songs are working their way up my iTunes most played list, sandwiched between Jimmy Buffett’s Cheeseburger in Paradise and Don’t Worry, Be Happy.

Sometimes you have to watch somebody love something before you can love it yourself. It’s as if they are showing you the way.

  1. Your last comment is very true. Personally, though, I’ve loved classical music since I was in junior high or so. Mind you, I don’t listen to it much because it makes me sleepy.
