Arrival-ATL…but first

Chelsea and Mackenzie

Our 8 hour SUV trip north to Atlanta could not begin until I took my 16 year old to test for her drivers license.

Mom had made us an appointment at 8 am downtown, which put us dead in the middle of rush hour traffic. I think I broke many driving rules rushing her to her drivers test – “this is how NOT to drive, ok?”

Being female obviously has it’s privileges – not fair, but a reality. Seems my princess banged the curb while doing the 3 point turn…batted her eyes at the male instructor…both just “giggled”…and he gave Mackenzie her drivers license. Now – I personally know that very same testing curb has been banged by other nameless young men. Their result? A less than passing grade.

Gender equity? I think not.

Are you girls just born with that feminine charm? Hmmm.

Catalyst begins at 8 am tomorrow morning…I guess my lessons began early.

She does look like her grandmother!(and her mama too!) Funny how the “pretty genes” can pass right through the dad with out sticking.

Yes, she does make us all feel old.

Sam takes his test soon. We’ll see how Roy’s theory hold up.

    That would be “holds” up.
    Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.
